07/06/2008 - Real Maryland faced the Harrisburg City Islanders on the 6th of July just two days after their match with Richmond. After a somewhat slow start in the first half allowing 2 goals, the Monarchs game back to play a strong second half with several strong scoring attempts. The final score was Monarchs 0, City Islanders 2.

07/04/2008 - Real Maryland faced the Richmond Kickers on the 4th of July looking to create fireworks only to face rain, a sloppy pitch and a hungry offense. The Monarchs fell to the kickers by a score of 3 to nil.

06/29/2008 -The Real Maryland Monarchs took on in-state rivals Crystal Palace Baltimore in another tough match. The Monarchs played Crystal Palace to a 1-1 tie at the half only to give up a second goal around the 56th minute of the second half, which stood up to be the winner for Crystal Palace.

06/27/2008 -The Real Maryland Monarchs played an exhibition match against L. A. FIRPO on Friday night in front of an excellent turn out. The match was a strong defensive showing for the Monarchs who held up well against the explosive offense and speed of famous team from El Salvador. In the end L. A. FIRPO prevailed by the score of 2 to 0. Photo coverage will be coming soon.
