Dirt Track action from Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway. These photos were taken back in August of 2007 during a visit to VMS.

Al is the track photographer down at VMS and was gracious enough to show me around and let me shoot with him on a warm August night. I still remember the first time the cars whizzed by underneath my feet as a stood at the top of a ladder to shoot over the fence. The speed at which the super late models goes through the curves will take your breath away!
